8/19/2019 BAA 18-S-3001 - The Tactical Operations Support Subgroup awarded an $8,432,802 contract to FN America, LLC to develop Lightweight Intermediate Caliber Cartridges to enhance lethality at longer distances.

8/12/2019 BAA 19S3011 - The Investigative and Forensic Science Subgroup awarded an $840,706 contract to Bode Technology Group to develop a high-sensitivity method to analyze mixed DNA samples to determine individual donor profiles by using microhaplotype loci.

8/7/2019 BAA 18-S-3001 - The Training Technology Development Subgroup awarded a $9,343,777 contract to IDS International to develop a Synthetic Internet for Training and Exercises (SITE). SITE will replicate the features and functionality of the internet; incorporate sentiment shifts, either automatically or as programmed by exercise controllers; allow role players to post and comment; and ensure personnel can train on analysis tools.

8/5/2019 BAA 18-S-3001 - The Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosives Subgroup awarded a $1,263,871 contract to Applied Research Associates to develop a wearable, passive detect-to-warn system for aerosolized biological threats. The system shall operate hands-free while providing automatic sample preparation and notification of potential threats.

8/2/2019 BAA 18-S-3001 - The Improvised Device Defeat/Explosives Countermeasures Subgroup awarded a $1,528,064 contract to Deep Analytic LLC to develop a pole-mounted, high-definition camera system capable of 52MP resolution to allow detailed inspection of tight spaces without removing bulky personal protective equipment.

7/30/2019 BAA 18-S-3001 - The Improvised Device Defeat/Explosives Countermeasures Subgroup awarded a $2,561,558 contract to Impact Research & Technology to develop a small unmanned aircraft system capable of deploying a remote turret system disruptor across denied terrain in order to render safe an improvised explosive device.

7/30/2019 BAA 18-S-3001 - The Physical Security Subgroup awarded a $125,583 contract to Intelligence Management Support Services Limited to develop an unclassified bombing trend analysis targeted at informing physical and facility security personnel on past and current blast threats. The study will cover events from 2008 to present for a comprehensive review of terrorist bombing events and look at the last fifteen years for a more general overview of terrorist bombing events. It will include person, vehicle, and water borne, and emplaced IEDs.

7/23/2019 BAA 18-S-3001 - The Training Technology Development Subgroup awarded a $3,153,494 contract to Research Triangle Institute to develop a simulator for tactical decision making training in 3D, immersive, multisensory, virtual reality environments featuring interaction through natural language processing.

7/12/2019 BAA 18-S-3001 - The Improvised Device Defeat/Explosives Countermeasures Subgroup awarded a $479,665 contract to Applied Research Associates, Inc. to develop an application to aid responders in identifying sUAS platforms to enhance threat mitigation and response planning.

6/28/2019 BAA 19S3011 - The Improvised Device Defeat/Explosives Countermeasures Subgroup awarded a $1,127,959 contract to the United States Bomb Technicians Association to develop and execute plans for capability exercises, training events, and meetings of the National Bomb Squad Commanders Advisory Board (NBSCAB) to identify technology gaps and develop new operational requirements.

6/24/2019 BAA 18-S-3001 - The Improvised Device Defeat/Explosives Countermeasures Subgroup awarded a $1,764,271 contract to American Science & Engineering to develop a small backscatter X-ray imaging system for remote employment by man-portable ground robotic systems.

6/18/2019 BAA 18-S-3001 - The Surveillance, Collection, and Operations Support Subgroup awarded a $356,450 contract to Michigan State University to develop an ultra-mobile, low profile UHF antenna for field communications applications. This effort will advance UHF antenna science by developing non-traditional antenna designs with the intent of getting past the fundamental limits of UHF antenna design.

6/13/2019 BAA 18-S-3001 - The Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosives Subgroup awarded a $261,280 contract to Intuitive Information Systems (dba Chainbridge Technologies) to develop a system for the integration and interoperability of real-time telemetry data for chemical detection into a data collection, management, and sharing platform.

6/4/2019 BAA 18-S-3001 - The Investigative and Forensic Science Subgroup awarded a $1,360,143 contract to SRI International to develop an artificial intelligence search tool that searches large files of video and other images to locate designated objects selected by the user.

5/29/2019 BAA 18-S-3001 - The Irregular Warfare and Evolving Threats Subgroup awarded a $1,247,038 contract to AeroTargets International, LLC to develop the capability to use small electronic media devices that contain pertinent content that can be safely air dropped and gain the attention of various target audiences on the ground.

5/23/2019 BAA 19S3011 - The Advanced Analytic Capabilities Subgroup awarded a $1,296,967 contract to System of System Analytics, Inc. to develop application of the eMEADE/SORT-OE modeling and visualization tool which will be used to ingest and analyze IDA and GSOS cost data in order to aid in making determinations on operational priorities by leveraging metrics such as return on investment and cost benefit analysis.

4/25/2019 BAA 18-S-3001 - The Investigative and Forensic Science Subgroup awarded a $595,300 contract to SRI International to develop an advanced vehicle image search tool that can train itself to detect and classify new makes and models of vehicles using a small number of reference vehicles.

4/16/2019 BAA 18-S-3001 - The Improvised Device Defeat/Explosives Countermeasures Subgroup awarded a $443,505 contract to Kirintec, Inc. to develop a low power jammer certified for domestic use against radio controlled improvised explosive devices (RCIEDs).

4/2/2019 BAA 18-S-3001 - The Personnel Protection Subgroup awarded an $87,950 contract to HP White Laboratory, Inc. to develop a standard, low-cost test fixture and operating instructions to assess the performance and efficacy of non-pneumatic limb tourniquets.

3/28/2019 BAA 18-S-3001 - The Irregular Warfare and Evolving Threats Subgroup awarded a $1,228,637 contract to PAR Government to develop a plug-in for Tactical Assault Kit applications in order to act as a mission planning/command, control, communications, computer, intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance tool.

3/27/2019 BAA 18-S-3001 - The Surveillance, Collection, and Operations Support Subgroup awarded a $511,025 contract to Georgia Tech Applied Research Corp. to develop an ultra-mobile, low-profile UHF antenna for field communications applications. This effort will advance UHF antenna science developing non-traditional antenna designs with the intent of getting past the fundamental limits of UHF antenna design.

3/15/2019 BAA 18-S-3001 - The Surveillance, Collection, and Operations Support Subgroup awarded a $375,078 contract to the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory to develop a capability for generating synthetic pictures to include a reliable means of measuring the realism of the generated pictures using generative adversarial network applications.

3/5/2019 BAA 18-S-3001 - The Personnel Protection Subgroup awarded a $414,224 contract to the University of Southern California to determine the cause of ill-fitting body armor from measuring the wearer, to manufacturing, and to delivery. The goal is to identify solutions that will result in every user wearing body armor that fits properly with as much coverage as possible without restricting mobility.

2/12/2019 BAA 18-S-3001 - The Improvised Device Defeat/Explosives Countermeasures Subgroup awarded a $1,583,917 contract to Med-Eng to develop an integrated heads-up display for bomb suit helmets to feed optical and other advanced sensor date directly into the operator’s line of sight.

1/22/2019 BAA 18-S-3001 - The Training Technology Development Subgroup awarded a $1,030,051contract to Vertex Solutions to develop an immersive virtual reality simulator to enhance training for the MK-16 self-contained diving rig emergency procedures.
